[page] 115A Survey upon Carts in the Town of Queensferry
from 10th Octr [October] 1785 to 5th April 1786 by James Allan Surveyor
I James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify That upon
carefull Examination of the foregoing several Rates & duties I find
they Amount in whole to Six Shillings Sterg. [Sterling] & that upon the
23 Current I delivered to Robert Chapman in Queensferry Collector of
the said duties for the Borough aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above
Account, duly examined and compared with the foregoing which contained
my Oath that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants
or at their Dwelling Houses of the dates annexed to their respective
Names, that they are chargebale with the sums set against their several
certified to be due from them
