From 10th of October 1785 to the 6th of April 1786 By
William Brunton Sur. [Surveyor]
21 Carts @ 1/ [£0.1.0] each is £1.1.0
I William Brunton Surveyor aforsaid do hereby Certify that upon
careful Examination of the foregoing several Rates & duties
I find they amount in whole to £1.1.0 - Stg. [Sterling] & that upon the
18 of March :86 [1786] I caused deliver to John Hislop ... Collector
of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate
of the above Acct. [Account] duly examined and compared with the fore
going and I do make Oath, that the above is a just List returned
by the several Inhabitants when requisitions were made of the
several dates aforesaid
