I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do Certify that upon Carefull examination of the
forgoing taxes I find they amount in whol to the Sum of Sixteen pounds Sixteen Shillings
and that upon the -- day of --- I delivered to Patrick Jack Colector of Said
dutys for Said Burgh aforsaid an exact duplicat of the above duly Compared
to which Contained my Oath that the proceeding habitant were duly served with
a requisition of the date aforsaid desiring him to make out within fourteen days and
deliver to me or cuse to be delivered to me upon Calling for that purpose an atested
list of all the Carriages used or employed by him from the 5 of April 1797 to the 5th of
April 1798 as much as one account of what Carriages he might employ anywhere els
and that the forgoing report was made up from the List or return to me from the
best Information I could procure or from my knowledge of his respective Establishment
