Survey of the Duties on Wheel Carriages, Arisen in the Burgh of Tain
from 5th April 92 [1792] to 5th April 1793 by David Ross Assistant Surveyor

I David Ross Asstant [Assistant] Surveyor, do hereby certify that upon carefull
examination of the Above Acct. [Account] I find it Amounts to Eight pounds
Sixteen shilling & that upon the Sixth day of Oct. [October] Curr. [current] I delivered to
Mr. George Murray present Treasurer & Collector of the said duties for the
Burgh aforesaid, An exact Duplicate of the Above Acct. [Account] which contained
my oath that the Above was the only Carriage returned to me or is
kept or used in said Burgh According to the best of my knowledge or
