I David Hutcheson Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify
that upon carefull Examination of the foregoing Rates & Duties find they amt. [amount]
in whole to Fifteen pounds Eight shillings sterling and that this day
I delivered to John Macaulay Collector of the said duties for the Burgh of
Dumbarton an exact duplicate of the above account duly examined &
Compared which contained my oath that a Requisition was left with the
foregoing Inhabitant and that He was to be charged conform to his return
or to my knowledge & belief that he was liable in the said duties
