[Page] 69A Survey of the Duties on four wheel'd Carriages Arisen in the
Burgh of Montrose from the 5 Apr. [April] 1790 to the 5 Apr. [April] 1791 being
one year by Daniel Ross Surveyor
I Daniel Ross Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon a careful
examination I find the foregoing duties amount to the sum of Sixty seven pounds
Sterling and that upon ..... day of ..... I delivered to Mrs. James Burnies
Collector of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of this
Accot. [Account] which contain my Oath that the preceding Inhabitants were duly
served with notifications or requisitions
of the dates aforesaid and that they were to be charged Conformable to their
several returns to me or the best Information I could procure
At Dundee 5th Jany. [January] 1791
