[Page] 5Report of the WHEEL-CARRIAGE TAX. In the Burgh
of Annan Ending 5 April 1791 by William Currie Surveyor
I William Currie Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon
carefull examination I find the foregoing duties Amount to the sum
of fourteen pounds St [Sterling] and that upon the 11 day of Janr [January] 1791
I delivered to Provest Johnstone Colctr [Collector] of said duties an exact duplicate
of which Accompts duly examined and Compared which
contained my Oath that the preceeding inhabitants were duly
serv:d with requisitions and that they were charged in
Conformity to their Several returns & according to my knowledge
and belief that they were Liable in said duties
