I David Hutchison Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that
upon carefull Examination of the above Rates and Duties, find they amount
in whole to Seventeen Pounds and ten shillings sterling; and
that this day I delivered to John McAulay Writer in Dumbarton Collector
of the said duties for the said Burgh, an exact Duplicate of the above
account; which contained my oath that Notices were left with the above
mentioned inhabitants as at their dwelling places of date foresaid that
they were to be charged with the sums hereby certified to be due from
