Supplement to Survey of
Wheel Carriage made me David Hutcheson, Surveyor for Dumbarton shire in 1789

I David Hutcheson Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that
upon carefull Examination of the foregoing Rates & Duties find
they amount in whole to the sum of Seven pounds Sterling
And that this day I delivered To Thomas Ewing Collector of
said duties an Exact duplicate of the same containing my
Oath that notices were left with the whole foregoing Inhabitants
or at their dwelling houses of the dates aforesaid that
they were to be charged with the sums set against their
several names
