A Survey of the [Wheel Carriage Tax] in the Shire of Selkirk
from the 5th of Aprile 1789 to the 5 of Aprile 1790 By William Brunton Surveyor

I William Brunton Surveyor aforsaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull
examination of the forgoing Tax I find they amount in whole to the sum of
Forty two Pound and that upon the -- day of --I delivered
to John Scott Collector of Said dutys for the Shire aforesaid a Copy duly -
compared which Contained my Oath that Requisitions were left with the
forgoing persons that they were to be Charged with the Sums Sett against their
Several Names
