Survey of the Wheel Carriage Tax in the Town of
Queensferry from the 5th April 1788 to the 5th April 1789 by James Watson Survr. [Surveyor]

[I] James Watson Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that the above
[Mr.] Alexander Taylor was duly served with a Requisition and Notice
[that] he was to be charged with the Duty of the above two four
[wheel'd] carriages And that upon the tenth day of January
[lCurrent] I delivered an exact Duplicate hereof to Mr. Robert Chapman
[Collector] for the said Borough, with my oath thereon.
