1 Carriage with 4 Wheels duty £7.0.0
I Charles Robb Assessor aforesaid Do hereby certify that upon
carefull Examination of the foregoing rates and duties I find they
amount in whole to the Sum of Seven pounds Sterling And that
upon the Tenth day of November 1788 I delivered to James Johnston
Collector for the Burgh aforsaid an exact duplicate of the above
Accompt duly Examined and compared with the foregoing which
Contained My Oath that notices were left with the whole foregoing
Several Inhabitants or at their dwelling places of the date
before annexed that they were to be charged with the Sum hereby
certified to be due from them
