I [Duncan] MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull [examination]
of the foregoing sevl. [several] rates and dutys I find they ammount in whole
[to] Seventeen pounds Ten Shillings And that upon the 22nd April 1789
[I delivered] to Donald Campbell Esqr. Collector of the said Duty for
[the Burgh] aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above accompt. duly examined
[and compared] with the foregoing which contained my oath that [Notifications]
[were] given to the whole foregoing persons or at their dwelling
[houses] of the dates aforesaid, And that the above Survey was made up
[from the] returns made to me in Consequence of these Notifications
