Wheel Carriage Tax

I John Wood Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify
that upon Carefull Examination I find these dues
to amount to Seven hundred and Twenty one
pounds And that upon this present day being
the 9th of November 1787 I did deliver to
George Cranston Esqr. Collector a full duplicate
of the foregoing Account which contained my
affidavit that these charges were made against
the Inhabitants either in consequence of returns
made by them to me or by the best Information
where no returns being ready when Called for. -
