Perth 29 Jan 1788 I Laurence Buchan Surveyor
aforesaid do hereby Certify That upon careful Examination of the
Several Rates and Duties I find they amount, in Whole to
Four hundred and Seventy Nine pounds Ten shillings and
that upon 24th Cur: [current] I delivered to James Maxton Esqr. Collector
of the said Duties for the Shire aforesaid. An exact Duplicate
of the Above Acct. [Account] duly examined and Compared with the foregoing
foresaid Acct. [Account] being agreable to the returns made by the Masters
