Proof 1 Wheel Carriage at £7 Each is £7.0.0
I William Currie Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon
carefull examination of the foregoing several rates and duties I find
The amount in whole to Seven Pounds St [Sterling] and that upon the
22 day of December 1786 I delivered to William Craik Collr [Collector] of the said duties
for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the foregoing
which contained my Oath that notices were Left with the several
Inhabitants or at their dwelling Houses of the date anexed
to their respective names that were to be charged with
the sums hereby certified to be due from them
