I John Veitch Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon careful
examination of the foregoing several Rates and duties I find the
amount in whole to the sum of one hundred and thirty six pound
ten Shillings Sterling and that upon the 22nd January 1787 I transmitted
to Robert Colquhoun Collector of said duties for the Shire aforesaid an
exact duplicate of the above Account duly examined and compared
with the foregoing which contained my oath that requisitions were
left with the several foregoing Inhabitants or at their dwelling
Houses of the dates annexed to their respective names and that the
assessments were made form the answers sent me & now in my
possession
