A Survey of the Wheel Carriage Tax Arisen in the Shire
[of] Cromarty from 5th April 1786 to 5th April 1787 by Hugh Mcffarquar Surveyor


I Hugh Macffarquar Surveyor Aforesaid, Do hereby certify
that upon examination of the foregoing Duties, I find they
Amount in whole to Ten pounds & ten shillings, and that upon
the fifteenth day of this current month of November, I delivered
to Mr Walter Ross Collector of said Duties for the Shire
aforesaid, an exact Duplicate of the above Acct. [Account] which contained
my Oath, that above are all the Wheel Carriages returned to me
of kept or employed by the different masters, consistent with
the best of my knowledge or information
