Survey - WHEEL CARRIAGE TAX. within the Town of
Kirkwall from 5th July 1785 to 5 April 1876 by Alexander Fraser Survr. [Surveyor]

Kirkwall 10 March 1786
Alexander Fraser Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that
[duty] on Wheel Carriages within Kirkwall from the fifth
[July] Seventeen hundred and Eighty Five to fifth april
[Seventeen] hundred and Eighty Six Amounts to Five
[Pounds] five shillings Ster. [Sterling] And I make oath that this day
[I delivered ] to Alexander Loutit Town Clerk of Kirkwall
Collector of Window duties as also of the foregoing duties
[a duplicate] of the foregoing Survey Alexander Fraser Surveyor
At Kirkwall 10th March 1786
