I William Hogg Surveyor of Taxes Do Hereby Certify that upon Careful
Examination of the Foregoing Rates & Duties upon Wheel Carriages
in the Burgh of Dunbar I find they amount to Thirty Four
Pounds Two Shillings & Sixpence Sterling. And that upon this 1st day
of December 1785 I delivered to Mr. John Tait Collector of Said Dutys
an Exact Duplicate of the Foregoing Accounts which Contained my
Oath that Requisitions were duly delivered to the Foregoing Inhabitants
of the dates Aforesaid & that the assesments were made from the answers
sent me & now in my posesion
