003 [situation] On the sea shore in the N.E. [North East] section of the plan, 140 chains N. [North] by E. [East] of Campar Mor.
A small bay on the Sea Coast at the village of Sgiogartaigh. Its beach is partly boulders and partly shingle. It is a good fishing station. There are generally a number of open boats employed in the Ling, Cod, and Herring trade. The sea is generally very rough in it. The prevailing wind is S.W. [South West]
