003 A Small Bay, on the Sea Coast at the village of Sgiogartaigh, the beach of which is partly boulders and partly shingle. It is a good fishing station and has almost Constantly a number of open Boats, Employed on the Ling, & Cod, and Herring trade, stationed in it. the Sea is generally very rough in it, but it affords these Boats sufficient safety and shelter the prevailing wind is S.W. [South West]
