chairs and a spinning wheel I observed among
the furnishings. The so-called font
which lies at the end of the house is a

Standing St. [Stone] Hill of Rangag (64) (See p. [page] 104)
At the N. [North] end of the Hill of Rangag, some 3 yds. [yards] E [East] of
the road and about 1 1/4 m. [miles] N. [North] of Achavanich.
It is quadrangular in Section & stands to a
height of 9'.5" above ground and measures
some 2'.9" in thickness. It seems to face
E [East] and is slightly tilted towards the W. [West]. On
its S. [South] face near the W. [West] edge and about 3' above
ground are some raised markings which
have the appearance of sculpture but are
probably due to natural causes.

Standing St. [Stone] Hill of Rangag (63)
Situated also at the N. [North] end of the Hill of
Rangag and about 1/2 m. [mile] ENE. [East North East] of the
last stone is another. It stands 5'.6" in
height above ground : is roughly quadrangular
in section measuring 2'.8" x 1'.8" ; and is
pointed upwards. It faces WNW. [West North West] and
ESE. [East South East]. On the SE. [South East] angle 17" from
the top a rounded disc like protuberance
