015 A tolerable good Farm House. with out offices including a thrashing Mill, (worked by Horses) all of which are in pretty good repair. The Farm Consists of about 220 acres, the Greater part of which is arable, but of an inferior quality, owing to it being So Rocky, and the Soil light- It is Bounded on the South by Knock & Maize On the N.E. [North East] by the Glake. and on the West by the SEa. (on the N.W. [North West] Side of this Farm , Is two Forts. One of which has been leveled down when the field was ploughing, nothing now remains of it but this Site, the other to the North of it Surround by a Drain. and is Situated on a rising eminence, (The former is a hollow) the are Supposed to have been places of Strenght . Proprietor the Earl of Stair Tenanted by James Ross.-
