Such at the time of the late Herring fishery on Loch Ryan. the fisher Men used to frequent this house for Drinking purposes. And as there were At that time. A Marsh or very weat Place between the Manse & the Road. There Fisher Men used to Banter other to go to Glengutter. I Supose from the Small Stream in the Glen Above it And Probably from the marsh or weat Dirty Place Glengitter is the Property of Sir A. Agnew
