Glassagh [Inch]

Glassagh [Inch]
Kirkhapple Rock Loch Swad - Object - Loch
Knockville

[Note] Mr Hannay and Mr Thompson would recommend
this to be written Loch Cooeye although it is
pronounced as if written Coayor Couat. there is no
sound of the letter u in the name,
Mr James Mckie. Mr James Stroyan. & Mr William Kirk
says that the name is pronounced as it is written Couey
therefore we come to Mr Stroyan's first recommendation and write it Quie
as being nearest to the local pronunciation-
