005 A Small Steep hill on a farm of the same name, Situated about 1 mile North of the village of cairn Ryan, the Soil consists of Arable and Heathy pasture, towards the South end of it. It is Rocky & cover'd with Natural Wood & furze and a Small portion of it is planted. with fir Wood. it taKes its name from the farm on which it is Situated And in turn the farm gets the name of Lairds Hill from its being a long time held by the Proprietor.
