012.02 A Substantial but Low Old fashioned edifice, With a large Burying Ground Attached and has two Approaches to it, one from New Street and the Other from Kirk Lane Was erected in 1736 by the Town Council , and was the first Parish Church of the Burgh of Paisley that was built when the Burgh Was erected into Separate Parishes, it was named the "Low Church," from its Situation and had a Parish Assigned to it, In 18[? ] the Minister of this Church was transferred to a more Spacious and Commodious edifice named the "St. George's Church", and the former Church Was Subsequently purchased from the Town Council by a Denomination called the "Evangelical Union" and named it the Evangelical Union Chapel, and is the property of the members of that Congregation, and is Supported Solely by them, Contains About 900 Sittings,
