A School house belonging to the United Presbyterian Congregation of this Parish, It is a small stone building in good repair, was first built for a dwelling house, but purchased by the above body & converted into a School Ho. [House] there is an appointed teacher to it at a salary of £10. per Ann;[Annum] besides scholars fees the salary is raised by subscription and paid by a committee appointed by the Congregation the average no. [number] of scholars is about sixty the branches taught are English Arithmetic Latin etc.
