The name "Three Wells" has its origin from three levels of old coal works, springing out at one place - where the well is. As it is authorized is the mode in which it is always used by all who know it. There is not a better known name in the parish than "Three Wells", it does not taste of iron, nor is it known to possess any minerals propy |
