033.10 A narrow stream which takes its rise from surface water about one half mile S.W. [south west] of Eastend House, and falls into the River Clyde near the village of Thankerton. Flows through a flat arable country - not rapid - low banks - gravelly bed. For a short distance of its course it forms the boundary between the parishes of Carmichael and Covington.
