Cairn | 021 | A considerabel heap of stones, thrown together in a circular form, about 32 feet in diameter, and 4 feet high. I have enquired at several old and intelligent inhabitants in the Locality, but none of them know it by any name, but from my experience, I would be ready to call it a cairn wherein some notable person has been interred. An old man about 60 years of age states that, during his time, the heap has not been deminished or added to. It is on the farm of Brigton. |
