Collin Mill--Factory--A Large building erected about 1789 and intended and used for a time as a cotton Mill, it was subsequently converted into a paper Mill, the upper floor is now used as a woollen manufactory where Blankets plaiding and carpets are wove (the weaving department is rented by John Dunlop) the ground floor is used as a circular Saw Mill and occupied by the proprietor Gilbert Maxwell it is fued from the Estate of David Welsh [Walsh] Esqr. and has a powerful fall of water--Rerwick [Rerrick]--James Scott
