051 This name applies to the Ruins of a place of worship situated a short distance south of the farm-house of "Ord" the only portion visable above the surface is a portion of the north-east corner the walls of which are about Seven feet high; Tradition says it was dedicated to St. [Saint] Caon* but nothing is known regarding the date of its erection, neither when it fell into disuse. There is a grave yard Surrounding this chapel now disused Right Hon [Honourable] Lord McDonald proprietor This no doubt one of the old Culdie Chapels and has been treated as such by writing the name in old English Character.
