Old Montrose [note]
Monipennie enumerates a "Castle" of Old Montrose - and Mr. Jervise the
author of the Memorials of Angus & Mearns informs me that the present house
of Old Montrose is pretty nearly upon the site of the last house which from it style

of Montrose was born - [Initialled] J.B. LtCol. [Lieutenant Colonel]
