026 A small but neatly built school house in the village of Earlsferry
It was built by subscription aided by a small grant from the funds of the Burgh of Earlsferry there is an appointed teacher to it having no salary only scholars fees the average number of scholars is about 80. the teacher is Mr McDougal.

026 A large and handsomely built schoolhouse. It was erected this year by subscription aided by a grant,of £12 from the burgh of Earlsferry. the building and roofing is completed and workmen are daily employ'd at the interior furnishings of it,which will soon be completed. it is in connection with the Free Church,in the village of Elie. There is yet no teacher appointed to it
