I could not ascertain the derivation of the name but the Proprietor Mr Dalgleish informed me that Tennygask was the proper Orthography, but it was changed to Dunny Gask by a former Factor. Th[e] latter Orthography is now used and record[ded] by the greater number of Authorities I have
