In Saline Village An Inn where a Minor Post Office is served by a Foot Post daily from Dunfermline, the arrival is 12 o'clock and the departure is 4.45P.M. Although the house bears the name of an Inn they do not keep Post Horses and only temporary accommodation for Travellers. It is known as Huttons Inn from the name of the present Proprietor.
