[situation] In the southern part of the Town of Cupar.
A small suburb district of the Town of Cupar, and situated within the limits of the burgh boundary - it consists of two short rows of buildings in the Millgate and Bridge Street with gardens offices tenements including the parish Manse. Some few acres of open Arable grounds. It is held in feu by John Inglis Esqr. off the baron of Rothes and is in consequence called by the Given Name.
