A long narrow and irregular street which is the continuation of the High Street of Kirkcaldy extending from the Parish boundary of Kirkcaldy to the West bridge. Parish of Kinghorn the houses are irregular in appearance and generally of a mean description occupied principally by weavers. there are several small shops chiefly in the grocery line with a few public houses the street is paved and lighted with gas but badly drained it is the principle street in the district of Linktown. |
