A bare rocky island about a mile in circumference, situated in the Firth of Forth, opposite the town of North Berwick. It is inhabited only by rabbits & sea fowl, and it is a favourite resort of the sea bird called the "Tommy-norrie" or the "Coulterneb" or puffin. It is the property of Sir Hew Dalrymple Bart. [Baronet]
