A large glen extending from the Southwestern base of Carlin Tooth in a northwesterly direction for about 50 Chains and from that in a westerly direction, ending at Mosspaul. Its surface is covered with rough pasture, there is a stream flowing through it called Glenpenago Burn which forms the boundary between Dumfriesshire and Roxburghshire.
