013 One of the office houses attached to the farm now stands on the ground mentioned as "King's Stable" in the "old Statistical account" Mr Picken informs me that when sinking for the foundation at the present house, there were a great number of horse shoes found below the surface!!!!!

013 A stone Bridge of one arch, on the road leading from Kingswell to Kilmarnock about 7½ miles from the latter place. Near it is the old Tollhouse, now occupied by farm labourers.
