017 The remains of a small stone circle supposed to have been erected by the Druids, situated on, and near the summit of "Brown Hill", the track of which is quite visible, the stones having been removed some time ago for building purposes. All the information I can obtain about it, shows that for what purpose it is quite unknown.

017 A small eminence 16 chains south of the farm of "Hillhead of Avochie", its summit is in cultivation, but huge boulders of gray granite ly scattered on the land, it takes its name from Avochie House, and is on that Estate.
