Castle (Site of)
There is about 120 feet of the foundation laid back on the side next the stream - in that side 2½ feet high but in the S.W. [South West] sides of the wall the field is nearly level onto the top - There is no other trail. It is supposed to belong to the 16th Century.
George Cruickshank says that William Club who died some years back at the age of 84 remembers the ruins of the Castle
