Survey SHOP TAX Burgh of Inveraray
from 5th April 1786 till 5th April 1787 by Duncan MacNuier Surveyor

I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon careful Examination of the
foregoing Rate and Duty I find it amounts to Three shillings Stg. [Sterling] and that upon the thirtieth day of
March Seventeen Hundred and Eighty seven years I delivered to Donald Campbell Esqr Collector of the Cess and
of the said Duty for the Burgh aforesaid an Exact Duplicate of the above Acct. [Accompt] duly examined
and Compared with the foregoing which contained my Oath that notifications were given to
the foregoing persons or left at their Dwelling houses of the date aforesaid And that the foregoing
Survey or Assessment was made up from the return made by me in consequence thereof
and from the best information I could otherwise Obtain Duncan McNuier
Inveraray 30th March 1787
