Survey of the duties of Male Servants in the Burgh of Rutherglen from the 5th of [April] 1973 tothe 5th of April 1794 by Andrew Aitchison Surveyor
[I] Andrew Aitchison Surveyor Do certify that the above rates and duties amount to the sum of Two
[Pounds] & Fifteen Shillings Sterling and that on this day I gave to Mr Andrew Fleming Collector of these
[Duties] an exact duplicate which contained my Oath that Mr Gray was served with a requisition
[of] the date annexed to his name and that he is charged according to the best of my knowledge and
[belief] that he is liable in said duties
