I Daniel Ross Surveyor Aforesaid Do hereby Certify That on
Carefull examination I find the foregoing Duties Amt [Amount] to the Sum
Five Pounds twelve shillings & six pence Stg [Sterling] And that upon
[blank] I deliver'd to Mr John Colvile Collr [Collector] of the said
for the Burgh Aforesaid an exact Duplicate of this Acct [Account] which contained
My Oath That the preceeding Inhabitants were duly served
with requisitions of the Dates aforesaid, and that they were to be
charged Conformably to their severall returns or from the best
formation I could procure
