I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon carefull
examination of the forgoing Tax I find they amount in whole to the Sum of
Three Pounds Sixteen Shillings and Tence pence halfpenny and that upon
the Thirty day of December - I delivered to John Scott Collector of Said dutys
for the Shire aforesaid a Copy of the above duly compared which contained
my Oath that Requisitions were left with the forgoing persons that they were to be
charged with the Sums Sett against their Severall Names

they Amount in whole to Twenty one Pounds, Three Shillings, and
nine pence Ster. [Sterling] and that I delivered this day to Mr Thomas Wingate of Stirling
Collector of the said duties for the County aforesaid, an exact duplicate of
the above Account duly Examined and Compared with the foregoing, which
contained my Oath that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants
or at their dwelling Houses, that they were to be charged with the Sums

were left with Several parsons befor named or at their dwelling houses of the dates
Anexed to their Respective names requiring them within fourteen dayes to give in a list of
their Carriage or Saddle horses retained or Employed by them from the 5 day of April 1789

Seven hundred & Ninty I delivered to John Carlile Collector of the said duties for the Burgh
aforesaid an Exact duplicate of the above Accounts duly examined and compared with the foregoing
which contained my Oath that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their Dwelling
houses of the dates annexed to their respective Names that they were to be charged with the Sums

I William Johnstone Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull ex:
:amination I find the foregoing duties amount to One pound seventeen shillings &
six pence Ster. [Sterling] And that on 29 Decemr. [December] 1789 I delivered to John Carfrae Collector of
said duties an exact duplicate of this Account duely examined & compared which con:
:tained my Oath that the foregoing Inhabitants were duely served with Requisitions
of the above date And that they were charged according to their several returns, or
according to my knowledge & belief that they were liable in said duties.

Survey ADDITIONAL CARRIAGE AND RIDING HORSE TAX. Burgh
of Inverary for the Three-quarters from 5th July 1789 till 5th April 1790
I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor of the duties aforesaid do hereby certify
that upon careful examination of the foregoing Several rates and duties
I find they amount in whole to the Sum of Eleven Shillings and threepence
Sterling, And that upon the Sixteenth day of April JajvijC [Seventeen hundred] and Ninety
Years I delivered to Donald Campbell Esquire of Sonnachan Collector
of the said Taxes for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the
above Account duly examined and compared with the foregoing which
contained my Oath that requisitions were given to the whole foregoing
persons or left at their respective dwelling houses of the date prefixed
to their names And that the foregoing Survey was made out from the
returns made to me in consequence thereof.

amount to Sixteen Shillings and ten pence halfpenny Sterling
And that upon the Seventeenth Day of March Current I delivered
to Mr John Watt principal Collector of said Duties for said Burgh
an exact Duplicate of, and Duly examined and compared with the
foregoing Account, which contained my Oath, That Notification was

I Charles Robb Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certifye that upon care [careful]
Examination of the foregoing duties I find they amount in whole to
Three pounds Three shillings and nine pence Sterling And that upon
the [--] day of November I delivered to Mr John Hutton Collector
of the said duties for the burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the
above Account duly Examined & compared with the foregoing which
contained my Oath that notices were left with the Several persons
before named or at their dwelling houses of the dates annexed to th [their]
respective names requiring them within fourteen days to give [in]
a List of their Carriage or Saddle Horses Nos retained or Employed
by them from the Fifth day of [July] Seventeen hundred & eighty nine to
the Fifth day of April Seventeen hundred & ninty And that the said Account
Or Survey is made out from the Lists returned to me And from the best
information I could procure of the Cariage or Sadle horses of those whose
Lists are deficient neglected or [refused] to give in a List thereof in ter [terms]
of the notices left with them as aforesaid
