A Survey of the Carriage and Horse Tax In the Burgh of
Sanchor from 10 Oct 1785 to 5 April 1786 W Brunton Surr [Surveyor]
I William Brunton Surveyor of aforesaid do hereby
certify that upon Careful examination of the foregoing
Several Rates & Duties I find they amount in whole to
the Sum of £1.0.0 Ster [Sterling] & that upon the 18th March 1786 I Sent
by post to Edward Whigam Collector of the said Duties for
the Shire aforesaid, an Exact Duplicate of the above
acct. [account] duly examined & Compared with the foregoing
and I do make Oath that the above is a just List returned
by the Several Inhabitants when requisitions were made
of the Several Duties aforesaid
